Controlling the “front-line” car salesmen. Sales managers control their sales teams with ‘rules” and closers. They use closers to “help” re-enforce their car lot “rules” with the “front-line” salesmen working for the dealership. Closers are the salesmen’s immediate-bosses, and they put extra “pressure” on both their salesmen and customers to “push” impending car-deals, in the dealer’s favor.
